Cancellations & Refunds (Traveler-Initiated)

Flyobird.com understands that plans can change. However, most bookings—especially flights and vacation packages—are non-refundable unless the fare rules or airline/supplier policies allow it.

Refunds are only possible when:

  • Fare rules explicitly allow it
  • Our airline or service partners approve it

If you request a refund, our team will review your case and email you an acknowledgment. This email does not guarantee a refund. If eligible, refunds take 4–6 business weeks to process.

Changes & Modifications

If you wish to change your trip details (e.g. dates or destinations), it depends on:

  • Airline availability
  • Change fees
  • Fare difference (if applicable)

We may also need to modify or cancel your trip due to force majeure (e.g. weather, strikes, political unrest). If this happens:

  • We will offer alternatives (if possible)
  • No compensation is guaranteed unless approved by the airline/supplier
  • You are responsible for any additional costs unless otherwise stated

All cancellations must be made via phone only. Email requests are not sufficient for processing.

Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to:

  • Ensure all traveler info matches your passport (name, gender, DOB, etc.)
  • Carry valid documents (passport, visa, ID, travel permits, vaccination records)
  • Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months for international travel

Flyobird.com is not responsible if you are denied boarding or entry due to missing or invalid documents.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for:

  • Cancellations
  • Lost baggage
  • Medical emergencies

Flyobird.com does not cover any uninsured losses.

Health, Visas & Travel Risks

  • Visa and entry rules can change without notice. Check requirements before booking.
  • Many countries (like India) require tourist visas and proof of return tickets or funds.
  • Some destinations may require vaccinations or health documentation.
  • Check with your local health authorities and consulates for the latest information.

You are solely responsible for meeting all entry, health, and documentation requirements. Flyobird.com is not liable for any delays, penalties, or denied entry due to non-compliance.

Passport & Visa Requirements

All travelers must carry a valid government-issued passport and obtain all necessary visas, including transit, Schengen, and destination entry permits.

  • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date.
  • It is your sole responsibility to secure all required travel documents.
  • Some destinations may require a round-trip or onward ticket for entry. If traveling one-way, verify with the airline or consulate before booking.

For U.S. Travelers to India

Visit the official website of the Indian Embassy in Washington, D.C. for the latest entry and visa requirements before booking your flight.

For Non-U.S. Citizens

Please consult the consulate or embassy of your destination country to confirm all applicable entry requirements.

  • Flight changes, cancellations, rescheduling, or missed connections
  • Seat assignments, aircraft changes, or schedule adjustments
  • Boarding denial due to missing or incorrect documents

Important Notes:

In rare cases, due to IATA regulations, e-tickets may not be issued for infants under 2 years. If this occurs:

  • We will suggest alternate travel options
  • If you choose not to proceed, your booking will be canceled and refunded within 30 days

Check-In Policies

If you fail to check in on time, your booking may be automatically canceled by the airline, including your return flight. To avoid this:

  • Contact us or the airline on the day of departure to confirm your return flight remains active

Connecting Flights

If a connecting flight is delayed or canceled:

  • The airline may offer alternative transportation (e.g. train or bus)
  • If you booked transport through Flyobird.com, we recommend purchasing flexible or refundable tickets to protect against disruptions

Return Flight Responsibility

You must reconfirm your return flight at least 72 hours before departure.

  • If booked via an agent, the agent is responsible for reconfirmation
  • Failure to reconfirm may result in loss of your seat, and Flyobird.com will not be held liable

Luggage Policy

Flyobird.com is not responsible for any loss, damage, or mishandling of your baggage. Baggage liability rests solely with the airline operating your flight.

To qualify for compensation due to baggage loss or damage, you must:

  • Report the issue to your airline before leaving the airport
  • Submit a formal declaration, along with:
    • Your original travel ticket
    • Baggage check-in tag
    • Written damage/loss claim form

Please retain all documents and receipts as proof.

Traveling with Infants & Children

  • Infants (under 2 years old) do not require a separate seat but are usually charged 10% of the adult fare (varies by airline).
  • Children (ages 2 to 11) may receive a discounted fare, depending on the airline policy.

Please consult the airline directly for the most accurate fare rules.

Pregnancy & Air Travel

Airlines have individual policies regarding pregnant passengers, typically restricting travel within 7–30 days of the due date.

Flyobird.com is not liable for denied boarding due to pregnancy-related restrictions. Travelers are advised to consult their physician and airline before booking.

Medical & Physical Health Conditions

Some travel packages offered may include physically demanding activities (e.g., skiing, diving, surfing). Participants should be in suitable health to engage in such activities.

Flyobird.com is not responsible for:

  • Injuries, accidents, or medical complications during the trip
  • Emergency treatments or medical attention required during travel

Any medical expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the traveler. Travelers are advised to secure appropriate travel insurance before departure.
